I just got a caracal and missles work great on it, but I can't seem to hit anything with a railgun or blaster's, would projectile turrett's work better?

well, I have like 3 agent's in the same system and I have set up camp there. But what I am wondering is if I do missions for the highest quality agent will that get me an even more higher quality agent sooner? like,I have -17 -15 and -13 agent's, ...

I have recently started doing lvl 1 mission's for a R&D agent, I found her at an industrial station, so far the mission's have been the same as other mission's like security. But the one's I do for her are command missions i think.

I read somewhere that while in battle, when you target someone/thing, and you can right click on your target and hit orbit - xkm and it will keep you at optimal range for your weapon. Does anyone know anything about this?
